You guys get the book for Christmas, but I recieve the candy every year in my stocking, as well as any other time my wife gets me a gift. It always include cola bottles and Dots.
I have to get the book on my own.
good calls guys. Never even thought of look at that. I think that may be right. Have to see if that reddish center turns more like the rim. Every time I look at it the rimm seems wider and wider. I have been having good luck at my LFS with some good cheap finds. Like I said 3 weeks ago this was...
I picked this piece up about 3 or 4 weeks ago. It was completely brown but showed tiny blue polyps, so I figured I would give it a shot. Here it is now. The rim is kind of blue/purple and the rest is kind of red/pink. Tiny blue polyps still there. Anyone know if this has any type of special...
If you have a good amount of Pods or can get them to eat prepared food how about a couple of Dragon Face Pipefish
Ive seen them in full blown reefs and since they pretty much slither on the rocks they can handle the flow
Well I was gonna respond to this eariler but everyone beat me to it. All the above places are good stops. If your looking for dry goods definatly stop at Hidden Reef, if its coral your after check at NJ Reef Farm. Whet there again yesterday and you wount find better coral in that area...
Been seeing a lot of talk about the 120w LEDS again so I figured I'd get this up for sale.
I appears to be the typical unit but Apollo claims that only the case is mass produced. As per Apollo the LED's run at 2 watts they are 40 Blues and 15 Whites all with 60* optics. Also upgraded is the...
Very nice, also like that acro in #3. Good to see your having luck with that t5. Is that a Deep Blue fixture? Im about to embark on my journey and its nce to know that the corals can look nice under it.
I have a similar fixture that was above my frag tank. Worked great. Corals of all type had good growth and great color. I say similar cause the one I have is from apollo led.
Not really sure where to get the ammonia. If this is anything like my last setup with live rock I might not see much of a cycle. I think I got some shrimp in the freezer. Might go that route.
Well cycle underway. I added some live rock and the filter pad from my frag tank and the sand im using is also from my frag tank. Only going with a thin covering for the substrate. basically just enough to cover. So much for all that rock work I did eariler, as soon as I took it apart I could...
I picked up one a few weeks ago. It's in a different spot everyday. Sometimes it moves constantly all day. Then it split. Now I have two 1" nems moving constantly.
Well we'll see about the nems. I looked them up. I don't know tough call. Not really sure what im gonna do with them yet anyway. Thanks for the tip though. I'll keep and eye on them. Though it tough they are constantly in a different spot every day.
Everything looks and sounds great. I have the same skimmer set up on my 20. Haven't turned it on yet though. Do you like it? I found a couple things weird on mine. Unless its me. When dialed in to "off" it seems to be at maximum water level, and vice versa for the "max" settting. Anyway good...
Well here we go. Filled and leak checked. Everything good.
Gonna work on scape tomorrow then salt and seeded sand/rock.
In the last post I mentioned a few things about my fuge ideas, does anyone have any thoughts on any of that?
Anyway thanks for looking.
