Thanks ricwilli! That's what I figured too. I just tested it about 10 minutes ago and the results were negative (0.0 ppm copper) so that's a relief! I'll start soaking that stuff again in a clean batch of salt water and then do the basic testing / water changes / testing until it's ready before...
