Agreed Bax, I just dont know if there are more of them, that is why i would like to find out what it is. Luckily there are lots of wrasses patrolling the tank!
LOL, thanks, never seen one either, just glad it wasnt eating any coral as far as I could tell. Its not a Lettuce Nudi and I have no idea how it got in my tank, as I dip everything. It was very cool looking, but unfortunately I couldnt risk putting it back in the tank.
I have 2 mini colonies of orange crush acan echinata for $30 each, they have about 10 heads each. Shoot me a pm if you are interested and I will send over pics. I will throw in a frag of setosa or undata monti too.
Sorry to hear about the clowns, as for the damsel they are extremely hardy and its probably strong enough to fight it off on its own. The Velvet could have always been in your tank and some stress factor made the fish succeptible to it. IMO Velvet and ICH can just appear out of nowhere, due to...
From the looks of that clownfish, I think you may have marine velvet. Its a very aggressive and deadly parasite. It will have no effect on any of your corals or inverts. Your best bet at this point is to just let the tank go fallow for 10 weeks and the parasite will die off with no hosts.

I really enjoyed last years trip to Macna and would like to go every year. Unfortunately I really have no desire to go to Iowa, even to go to Macna. They really need to choose a venue and city that is appealing to visit.
Try cleaning the pump that is feeding it, but in all honesty I hate those skimmers and have never been happier with my system since the day I got rid of my MR2R. LOL.
I doubt it, the one I had for 5 years was under a 1200 watt fixture, and whats the point of having one in a dark sump if you cant see it and enjoy it. ::) LOL
Steve, this is a new product so it is likely that nobody has purchased one in the area yet. From the sounds of the severity of your problem its probably worth the investment for you.
I had one for 5 years and lost it months ago on an ALK spike. I have tried two more since and they died after a month. They actually feed on asterina stars which alot of people dont know, so if you have them it greatly increases their longevity. As far as the air exposure thing, its a complete...
