Yeah I have no movement in my fuge and it grows really well. What are you using for a light?? The 6500K CFL are the best to use IMO...

Don, how fast is the flow going through your fuge? If it's going too fast, the cheato won't have a chance to absorb any nutrients. This may be why it isn't growing.

I have two supermales and they are not getting along so one has to go. Has been in my tank for over a year and is fat and healthy and eats everything. He is a beautiful and healthy specimen. $100 pick-up only.

I suppose if they get to plague proportions they can be a nusiance. I dont know if there are any natural predators. Copperbands are worm eaters, but not sure if they would feed on these. Can you get the piece of LR out?? If so you can cook it and recure it.

If they are indeed spaghetti worms than there is no need to kill them. They are harmless scavengers and are usually beneficial to a tank.

I have already trapped 4 need to get the last 4. I will probably look to take all of them out as thats what I was thinking of doing and what you said has convinced me to do it. Phil, if you want them shoot me a PM, I am sure we can work something out.

LOL, I am actually getting rid of them. They are like piranhas at feeding time. I am keeping 2 of them. I found that my slower eating fish were not getting any food, it was crazy.
