the tangs need to eat nori. You should feed nori to tangs everyday.

LRS and Rods are very good food. I haven’t seen a fish not eat that food. I would say the reason I was able to keep a cooper band in my last tank was because of LRS and rods. they make a LRS that’s for tangs your yellow tang would like that better than the regular fish frenzy.

I have seen these lights and I would say leave it how it is. Wait a few weeks before you make any changes. Now if you can get another mount having them a little higher will mean you don’t have to move the lights to maintain the tank.
