Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
spam is always hard to fight. It like trying to fight viruses. AV software (and spam blockers) are always playing catch up as spammers (and viruses writers) work on new ways to do their tricks. I agree lately it does seem to be high number of spam. I'm not sure but maybe a verification...
lucky my tank wasn't too dirty really just the back of the overflow so hopefully it cleans well. Had some spots on the glass and will see how hard it to get those areas clean tomorrow but don't believe it be too bad
All three (36g, 54g, and sump) are soaking in vinegar now. Tomorrow I will rinse them out. I was thinking the vinegar bath was the way to go but wasn't 100% on it.
Well the the move is complete for the most part. Tomorrow is the walk through with our landlord and hand in the keys. I have set my Mac back up and will be moving the controller out when I want to work on it. So far just changed the wifi connection for the system but hopefully to do some more...
I had two nems. my first one took hold within 48 hours until I had to pull out rocks to get a fish out (long story there) then he spent a good 3 to 4 months moving around the tank to different locations until he finally took hold. My other nem took 2 hours to take hold and he only moves...
Ok I have my 54 and my 36 tanks sitting outside. They have been outside for a week now. Today I just took a hose and rinsed them out well. I am wondering if there anything else I should do to clean these tanks before putting them in storage?

Welcome to the club. Like @dougc said bring cash for the raffle if you care to join in the raffle. The raffle is normally for corals. Also bring your appetite. Each meeting I have been to has a good amount of good food. They are also great place to meet and hang out with people.
