    Sand Sifters

Diamond is the only sand sifting fish I would ever get. Don’t mess with the yellow headed ones.

    Adding dry rock

If you have the option, I would do a waterchange and save that waterchange water in a bucket with a air pump. Put the bucket infront of one of your vents to the house that pumps out heat if you don’t want to run a heater. Atleast you can then let the bacteria from the tank somewhat culture the...

    29 biocube pics

To be honest I do dislike having to use clip on filters for my phone to take pictures during actinics with leds, but my phone simply cannot register all the blue light like a larger camera does with plenty of editing. However getting the g5 blues over the big tank makes me regret not putting the...

    Want to try 2par!!!

Without the acros, the all for reef will be fine maybe just try 4 mls a day and then test and see where your levels fall. If your alkalinity is way lower or higher then your calcium then you will have to adjust using a two part to get it bumped back to the even range of you catch my drift. Then...

SPS: What am I doing wrong?

With those big waterchanges it should help drop the phosphates. The cheato won’t like to grow of thier is little nitrates, so it does not suck up the phopahates of thier isn’t much nitrates as well. Some gfo wouldn’t hurt with how many softies there is in there. Some people believe that heavily...

SPS: What am I doing wrong?

Also sending out an icp test the day you test will also help to see how far off your kits are. My salifert always reads higher then my hanna and the icp tests. It may also show something you aren’t testing for.

You need an orange filter, and then crank your blues up and take a picture lol, it may end up looking like one of the crazy ones!

    Torch ID please

They are really nice and they always have a chance to get better. If I was to get one of the torches that are amazing I would get it straight from the source just so I know that I can sleep easy and say that mine precisely came from tsa or wwc or some store/dealer who has the original colony...

    Torch ID please

When they settle in, and fluff up it may be easier to relate them to other strains a bit easier. Wether the polpys stay short or get long or get super long is all a factor. They are both nice but it depends what they look like when they fully settle in.
