Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Anyways - i know most of her classmates have got iphones or ipads or whatever - but i'm not going to let her. She's getting a dumb phone to send text and call us when she's done with her after school activities.
I shall now pray that my daughter will not kill me when she sees the dumb phone...
get ATI 54w. You will not be unhappy. BluePlus has the best PAR if I recall correctly.

Grim Reefer from Reefcentral wrote up a whole blog on T-5s...gonna try and find it.
found it...
i'm an idiot - i thought this pack was $140 for 5 or $140 for 2 or $140 for 1. But i re-read it and I guess it says you get 7 or 6 corals -depending on what what we choose?
if so i'm so tempted lol.
i'm using T5s (icecap fixture group buy we had years back). I dropped more change than i want to say on a second-hand Solaris LED that jazzsam (former member here) had and it was awful for SPS. Great for LPS. I know the newer LEDs are so much better and cheaper but I'm still on the sidelines...
move em down.
I have saved corals that looked like they had completely died to a little tiny spec and then a year later with the right water and lights, they came back.
Filter feeders are always a pain in my opinion unless they have some other mechanism to eat. Clams for example filter feed, but thanks to the symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae) in the mantel, they are relatively hardy for reef tanks (except mine sadly).
A barnacle does not have any symbiotic...
All the DRs I know who are working are doing fine. My entire family all have a strange infatuation with their children being a lawyer or doctor. My grades failed me so my parents let me off the hook LOL. Good luck.
Late to the thread...definitely agree that it is a barnacle. unusual to find them on a frag. usually you find them on LR that has been seeded in the ocean (vs the dry rock people cure themselves). Unless you plan on feeding it - unfortunately it will likely starve and die eventually.
I played F.H. in High School - but we didn't have a marching band lol. Things are "different" when you go the "fame" high school in NYC. I was in Orchestra and Band (not- marching). BY the time I was in HS though the school was no longer in the location that movie/show was based on. We were...
my 2 cents - get what you need. There is no need to get a "55 gallon" package as nothing is really perfect for a person's tank in a specific stage of maturity. If I were starting up and maybe had some diatoms or algae here or there - i might get a few cerith snails for sand bed maintenance and...
