just minor point - clowns do not host anemones - it's the other way around. Rock anemone do not host any clownfish since the former is from the atlantic and the latter is from the pacific =) Odds are the rock anemones will attempt to eat clownfish. there are exceptions for sure. BTAs...

also i've had success wrapping algae with a small piece of LR (or i guess for a QT you could try a pvc). I had a piece on a clip and the tang ignored it.

btw i think triggerfish and puffers are excellent fish - they tend to be very smart and will pick up on who the owner is. In many ways they make a very fun pet for a fish.
