Surface agitation is a great thing! As long as it's not causing microbubbles in your main and you don't mind the salt creep, I don't see a problem with it.

Great choice! It's almost as if you have two skimmers they way the water is churning up in that first chamber!

Good luck with the treatment,I've been battling flatworms for awhile now in my main tank, I have 3 yellow coris wrasses and scooter blenny in there to try and keep them in check. I've dosed FWE (flatworm exit) to no avail. If you do go the FWE route, I would recommend a 3-4x dose to make sure...

I've seen some monster in sump skimmers, I can't remember off hand what Billyr98's skimmer is, but it's massive. Hopefully he'll chime in here. FWIW I use an MRC (MR2) skimmer, I'm totally happy with it.

I also use and ACjr on my setup. I love it, not having timers all over the place is a huge plus. My system is a decent size and it's able to handle everything I need it to (for now!)

Sorry to hear that Ed...have you thought about floor drains? If i could redo my basement i would add one (or two) somewhere.

I've had the same problem as John, I had a Bundoon (which was predominately Green and Black) that was eating like a pig, then disappeared...not sure what happened to it!

That stinks! Maybe a different supplier will sell the model with the side mounted pump? That makes a big difference in height..they should really make it known that they redesigned it.
