What return pump are you running and what is the powerhead in the back? As others have said, you don't need a ton of flow with LPS, you can also use your rockwork to create zone of higher flow and lower flow.

We did longer, I think a week, and make sure it is a true and total blackout. We also ran the Dr. Tims protocol with it and that seemed to help.
