MB7 is a great product. Be careful with it. It can bring your nutrient down fast. I use it with Biofuel to clear up the water. I have not heard of Bioavailable carbon. What does it do?
Curt is correct. The line going to the sump from the aqualifter needs to be above the drum. If not, put the line in the overflow box or tank, but not submerged in the water.
I think I will leave it. Some of the rock in there have been split already. The big concern is, that it will shadow the bottom. I will see when I put the lights on.

Thanks everyone. I found another solution to my problem. I just added more plumbing parts, which I was trying to prevent. Like Mdodell stated, "It might not be a good idea to do this if the pvc is going to be under pressure", which it will be. Thanks again.
Yes, it sounds to simple. You also don't say what type of corals he is getting. I would try to get as much water from the tank that the corals are in and use it in the 55g and try to keep the water temp as stable as possible. He can than start doing water changes once a week with reef crystals...

The tank is looking good. I also got a derasa clam at the frag swap and its doing well under T5's. The clam is at the bottom and my tank has no sand.
