Hello All,
My name is Joe, and I have been in the hobby for over 20 years, have kept all kinds of corals and tanks of all sizes (5 to 180 gallons). I got out of the hobby for 3 years or so when my lids were babies and I didn't have much time. Now that I am home all the time now in my home...
I need some advice, the new aqueon 40 breeder I picked up looked great in the store, but once filled has 1000s of bubbles in all 4 seams. I do not trust it, and will not be using it. So now I am thinking about other options, I need a 36x18 tank and I already have the stand. Aqueon 40 breeders...
This tank will be a 40 breeder since it is in my home office and I don't have a lot of room. It will be lps dominated and mostly euphyllia. But will end up a mix reef like it always does. Went overboard on the light, a maxspect razor x 200w. Hope it does not bleed to much light outside the tank.
After a 3 year break I have been bitten by the reef bug again. Looks like the new thing is calcium formate. Anything else big I missed in 3 years? What have people stopped using? Biopellets?
Also is any one local to mt.laurel? Looking for some rock or sand to seed my tank.
Hello all, this did not take long, I am back in the hobby after a couple year break after diving the reefs in mexico...
Looking for anything for a 20-40 gallon. Tank, sand, rock, powerheads etc. Looking in central/South Jersey if possible. Lmk what you have!!
Want to go nano this time around.
