    That depends on the coral. Some I dip and some I don't because you're not supposed to. As for placement start at the bottom and adjust after 2 or 3 days, its what I do.

    Paul, the powder did not dissolve well and clogged a doser and when I did a drip line clogged the end of it, so gave up. Even when I used AFR powder it did not dissolve with a magnetic stirrer. No idea what I was doing wrong.

    I had trouble years ago with the kalk powder clumping then clogging so switch to 2 part. I heard you can use pickling lime but never tried.
