Hello everyone,
I'm Danny C.
Lived in NJ all my life. Totally invested in reefing. Not just a hobby but a way of life. New two reefing about 2.5 years. But been live long aquarium hobbiest. Currently have 5 tanks and a fish room. Also have two fresh water tanks and an office tank. So I have a 170 Nuvo mixed reef. 40 breeder custom set up. 13 fluvial nano 10 gallon 90 gallon soft with heavy fish and a recently just stared a Red Sea 33 gallon nano xl G2.
All of my tanks are automated via Neptune. Some are low tech. Right now I'm at the point where everythjng is thriving and I'm runnin out of space. Guess it's a good problem? Eager to continue to learn new things and meet fellow reefers. Just attended the reef show on central. It was really cool won some prizes and met some cool people.some pics of my coral. Hi all, I'm Dave.
I've recently moved back to NJ and decided to get into the hobby again after over 20 years absence. The last tank was zero filtration, a sump full of miracle mud, and 24 hour lighting over caulerpa. Things have certainly changed. I'm in a temporary living situation, so I've started a more modestly sized 30 gallon nano. I wanted to go high tech so I've got hydros controllers. Just CUC for now, and my phosphate is a tad low, but I figure I could get something at reefapalooza in Orlando next weekend. Is anyone else going? Oh, and I was at the show last sunday...I live in Jersey City, so it was convenient to say the least. I would enjoy meeting people and continue to learn. Lets grab a drink in Orlando if you're going...

Hey Dave. Welcome to NJRC! Most likely we met if you went to reefingusa. I was born and raised in JC but now I'm in edison.

Hello you can call me NotSalty, I am actually not a saltwater keeper, I am a freshwater keeper trying to find information on makeshift stands for tanks over 200gallons.... I've tried and all I find are stands 1,000$+ or the 500$ stands that look shoddy. I can't built stuff myself because of poor dexterity so I was wondering what my alternatives were?
