What's up Everyone! My names Jim. Born and raised in NJ. 33. I've had pets my entire life. About 4 years ago I moved to Grenada with my girlfriend while she was in med school. BOOOOOOOOOOOM! Going to the beach everyday really opened my eyes to the coral and fish world. Boy do I regret moving there! LMAO JK obviously! When I moved back to NJ, after doing A LOT of research and considering the space I had at the time, I got a 32 Biocube. It's awesome and has increased my love for the hobby.

In June I purchased my first home and finally have the space so I got a 180 gallon. Its a project I've been waiting for since I started in the hobby. Still waiting for the custom stand to come in. I plan on doing the plumbing and sump myself. I will share pictures once I get the stand and start making progress on the build.
Moving the biocube was rough and I lost all of my coral. Luckily it wasn't anything expensive. But at the same time we all know the time and effort it takes to see our reefs doing well. So still a bummer. Haven't gotten any new corals since the move but can't wait to see what I wind up putting in the new tank. Mushrooms have my heart right now but I really want to get into montis and across....eventually.

Happy to have found this group randomly today and looking forward to talking reef and fish with you all!
