Thanks. But hopefully this work will be worth it. I do think I had a very small leak. It seem like my return bulkhead wasn't tight but not 100% sure lol.

Ok I'm done for the night. Got most of the PVC cut and dry connected. Just need to finish one section and then glue together. Been a long day so I'm just going to stop here tonight cause I got house(apartment) work to do before bed lol.

Ok bulk heads on. Now off to the hardware store to get more PVC stuff as well as other stuff I need. Don't think I will do finish this tonight. Might just put the heater in the DT cause I already have power heads moving to keep the water moving and air it.

Hit my next snag. The joys of having a corner tank. There no room to truly work under it and having a hard time getting the bulk heads on.

Ok issue solved using two large mouth pliers I was able to get the bulk head off. On to the next problem lol.

Not one on hand but might be a good time to get one. Now the nut should slip off so I just picked up a pair of cheap large mouth pliers to help give better grip

The nearest Petco is about 1 hour from me but I have a PetSmart about 20mins from me. I know they only carry RC so I have messages out to local shops to see if they are running any specials/deals

Agree I don't think you should be hearing the pump. I don't hear my RO skimmer. A friend told me (when I got my new skimmer) to soak it in a vinegar/water bath and then never touch the inside part of the skimmer. This help speed up the break in time. Maybe look for a lose fitting or pump out...
