Lights are up. I cut one screw to short but was able to stabilize it. Will contact vendor and ask to purchase more. The remote control sucks, some problems connecting to wifi but all set. Now to figure out how to use the app. Anyway some pics.
No, for the 80g. The hanging lights are starting to be a pain and couldn't find a decent tank mount. The ones I found were $70+ so just decided to get news lights for a change.
My lights arrived today. The box weighs about 6.5lbs. Lights seem fine no damage in shipping. The mounts are metal. Only problem I have is the plastic screw is to long. My tank is to far back so used a very old hack saw and cot one. Fits but will need to use pliers to securely fasten. I have 3...
i do like them but to evasive so don't keep them. Why I am unloading the death palys and some GSP. I managed to glue GSP to back glass and that's all I need.

Just checked with ladder and flashlight; the piece appears to be flat against the main overflow between the pipes.
It would be easier to move coral around instead of ripping this apart. So it will stay...
Thanks Paul. I believe the problem is the flat curved piece is still vertical against the main overflow and dorso pipes. This piece has a knob I could try and fish with a bent hook providing I can actually see what I am doing.

This weekend I noticed the DT water was a bit higher than usual because the overflow weir was dirty. I loosened the screw to slide the second curved piece down to clean the weir and dropped the curved piece and cannot reach it. So now my DT is about an inch lower in water, about 5g, than usual...
