My tomato clown hangs out in both of my nems which are located in the front (one on top of the rocks near the surface and the other near the sand bed). My other clown hangs in the back or side. He sleeps vertical as well near my overflow.
Hard to tell by the picture but I am assuming you are talking about the 4 redish stuff on the small rock in the center of the image. If so they look like mushrooms to me but I'm still learning about corals so hopefully someone who is smarter than I can answer your question.
Agree with Paul. I been using tubing to do water change in my tank for about 3 or so months now. It helps get junk off the sand bed without pulling up all the sand. It allows me to clean around my corals and get into tight areas in the tank. It also helps pull algae off the rocks and what not...
I think a 300watt heater is too small for a 140g system. I have a 300watt heater on my 54 DT with 10g sump. I noticed the same thing with my windows open that my temp slowly goes from 78/77 to 75/74. Now I don't see any ill affect on my tank so I'm not too concern but I am thinking of getting...
