I have 2 emerald crabs in my 55. Got them for the same reason. Given time they do a great job, not 100% but minimal amounts noticed. The next biggest help is consistent ideal water parameters and water changes over time.

I got two units from reef breeders that are programmable about 2 months ago. So far I do really like them and the different color pots helps to bring out the red in the corals. Currently my tank is a 55 gal mixed reef and so far the sps love the 90 degree optics. I did have to do some moving...

Nice looking tank! I see corals have recovered well and you seem to have gone bare in the bottom (tank). Why no substrate?

Food will raise the phosphate. Either food for your fish or food for your corals.

Been there, food is very good high price. Atmosphere and people are odd, by this I mean sort of Jersey Shore ish. So, if you like to people watch, have at it!

Also make sure you have an impervious barrier (plastic) seperating the 2x8 from the concrete. You do not want moisture to go from the concrete to the wood to cause rot.

The time frame to get up to warp nine is geologic time! Mine was over the course of 6-7 months.

Your magnesium is low. If I am correct 1300 would be a better number. Low magnesium can make it difficult to maintain Ca and/or alk.
