I know a single sol blue mounted 10 inches above the water is plenty of light. My cousin has it on his column which is like 30 x 18 x 25 and his corals are great.
I may do this kit for the price:

I have a red sea max 130d and am looking to do LEDs on it rather than replace the current PC bulbs.
I am considering doing the AI sol blue NANO fixture but unsure if it will be enough light for the entire tank.
I am also considering doing a DIY kit from rapid led.
The pro of the ai nano is...
Amen,
I sold my 180 off and went down to a 34g red sea max, loving this little tank more and more everyday. While I may not have all the possibilities of fish as I did with the 180, it is nice to only do a 5g water change and not 30 gallons or lose 1/4 of a room to the giant monster.
I have a red sea max 130d and think compared to the jbj and biocubes it blows them out of the water.
It has everything incorporated including timers, a power center and includes a skimmer.
I think it's sleek only having one wire viewable and with the stand is great. I picked mine up the same...
Lol actually if you want the stand it is free, stipulation is you or whoever wants it brings people to carry out of the basement without breaking anything!
I just had to help the guy who bought the 180 take it out to his car since none of his friends could. Hopefully I don't have a hernia :x
180g Tank - NJRC price $300
Tek 60" light - $300
Sump - $75
Pumps - pending to sandee, waiting for the floods to subside
Willing to trade for a mp10, retrofit nano led for my red sea max 130d or a jbj/tunze ATO.
Thanks for looking.
