From my understanding the ecotechs will do a 24 x 24" area no problem. I decided to go with the ecotech, I figure if it stinks I can always sell it and do an AI lol

I think it also depends how you plan to scape your tank and placement of corals. Are you going to do rock from the very back to the very front or have it mainly centered. I'm on the same boat between AI and ecotech
