I'm honestly not sure which fish then to get in that case JR.
I have my 2 clowns and a sixline, I find myself wanting to get another fish that will actually swim around the 6 feet of emptiness.
OG has a sale on powder blues and hippos I was thinking of picking both up and QT-ing them and then...
I am planning on picking up a powder blue tang and hippo tang from OG II, but was wondering if I could QT them at the same time?
I have a 45 gallon tank I will be using and a simple HOB filter.
I plan on picking up some garlic flakes, maybe some copper treatment, and figuring out what else to...
Sunny try adding the fish again with the lights off and allow for some chasing to occur.
I did something similar adding a black to my 14g biocube with an orange already in it. The black would chase and kind of bully the orange one around and this went on for a few weeks. Now they're inseparable...
you're right I can't fit it under the cabinet if I raise it above my sump and I wouldn't be able to connect it to the overflow. The only thing I could think of is T off my Mag18 and have that pump into the sump then have it return to the bulkhead down into the existing sump. Kind of a PITA and...
Is that to say if I buy from Dr. Jim I wouldn't need to quarantine my tang?
If that is the case I'm all for it lol, spending a month and half and setting up another tank idk if my mom will like another tank in the house :)
Sorry in advance for the quality I can't find my usb cable for my camera. These were taken with my iphone.
Current stocking info:
2 clowns,
1 sixline wrasse
2 acans & hammer coral
I'm debating what fish to add next, but I know I want a tang, but that will be the last thing I add most...
HatsTHat's true I'll lower the flow with the valve more and see if that's the case. If it is I think I'm going to pickup a mag 12. I have 2 mp40 for flow so I'm good there.
It was a sump at te moment I'm working on planning a fuge to build or buy.
The cube would make a nice qt except I want to have a hippo, naso, or powder blue. If they were to come down with ich I'd prefer to treat them in a 30 long or similar tank with a simple hob filter.
If rock was left out to "Dry" and died, then in essence wouldn't the copper dry up too. Just saying if LR was in a copper treated tank then the LR sat outside of water for a few months and no longer was wet, any bacteria and copper would die or evaporate.
So I started transitioning my corals and fish to my new 135, I may keep the biocube and do a single maroon clown or two true percs or give it to my neighbor I'm not quite sure I want to have 2 tanks to worry about :0)
sixline is in although I haven't seen him much since putting him in. Is this normal or should I be worried?
I caught the two clowns finally after many attempts, they are in and enjoying their new home.
I started acclimating some of my corals (2 acans & a hammer) going to put them in the tank...
I have for sale the sump pictured at this link:
http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l240/Brando457/sump%20fs/
I have not used it at all, but it was purchased used from a fellow member.
The holes are 1 7/8" diameter to accept a Hayward 1" schedule 80 bulkhead.
I'd like to get $140 OBO...
Steve that is sick I might need you to make me some :) ;)
Here is how my tank looks so far. I have about another 20 pounds of LR to add so that should fill it out more.
the mag18 isn't really loud at all. I think it might be because the pump is too powerful. I'll figure it out eentually just setup my rkl so that's good.
