Nice vid as always.
In past year at ACC I've picked up an IM tank and stand, an ATO, some lighting equipment, live rock, loads of small frags and occasional livestock. Always quality.
S&%t. Heya Sunny, just reading this on Friday night. Anything I can do at all let me know. I may be able to home a few frags for you if you need to put some on backup just in case, but otherwise my capacity is low. Happy to come around early Saturday morning for a couple of hours if there's...
Lemme know how it goes.
I'm growing out a few pieces of monti spongodes, its common but cool looking.
You're welcome to a few frags. Also may have a few generic softie frags (zoas) for you if interested. Lemme know.
Timing is good, I'm just about to get rid of a chunk of green cheato, softball sized, LOADED with pods.
Its a mixed chunk from my tank (the thicker spaghetti variety) and Edwin's tank (the thin tighter growing variety).
No interest in anything aside from shipping cost, though I may not be able...
First I recommend QT, then dose with copper based chems, then QT in a second tank and treat with antibiots, then take anything the contaminated fish was in touch with and place each item in a separate QT tan....
Oh...
sorry, I thought I was on another site.
I was running mine to grow specifics, but a small tank with water changes, stone, and hiding spots may do quite well.
Don't know if they'll grow just off cheato, but maybe a pinch or two of powdered coral food every day or two?
OR spirulina (spelling? its powdered seaweed) may work.
Give it a...
As per pods...
Pod farms are a pain and, unless you have money and time to throw at them, are tough.
Tried a run myself for a while with my big tanks.
You have to consider the species of pod you want to raise (for wrasse, dragonettes, etc, each eats different pods).
You cant raise a batch of...
I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed the Jenk's trip last year. Had no clue there was so much going on underneath the aquarium itself. To say I was impressed with the size of the industrial skimmers or the ato drawn directly from the ocean would be an understatement. Would love to hit...
Ice! Thats my wavy tank. Thanks for the video and music, love it! :)
I need more sexy shrimp in there, like 20.
That tank started with a bare rock and a very small white and very small silver Xenia frag a few months back.
Lesson... 2 tiny Xenia frags took this tank in 6 months, many colonies...
That is the best picture I've ever seen of me. It looks like I'm having an enema that I'm not quite sure if I'm enjoying.
BTW, I love the Beta fish's name. Its my 6 year old's and is named 'Red Interested', as it is red and looked at my son as he approached the container.
Green SPSaporia Thing
Er... wait a minute. I just turned to look at it under the blues and its a pale yellow with blue polyps, most cool.
Now I feel bad for my smart ass response.
Did Marcus bring this (I lost track)? It was in a number of pieces (a dozen or more) and stored in the 25g IM...
Thanks to ice for the gifts handed out at the end of the day.
Thanks to all who attended. Hope everyone had a good time.
I'm going to finish off the beer.
