what do you run your reactor at with its effluent- the ph monitor and the bubbles per second? mine when it was first setup by someone who had a sick tank but he got out of the hobby it was on a fast bubble like a bubble per second, a slow drip and the monitor was set like 6.8-6.9. over the year...
I have a Milwaukee regulator with there solenoid and bubble counter and a milwaukee sms122 ph meter. With the power outage in my area being for 24 hours, when they tamper with electricity they make it go on off on and off. Now on my reactor it would net c02 bubbles rise. no matter how open the...
well that isnt good is that there is little polyp extension meaning that something is pestering it, what fish do you have? coral warfare wouldn't do that maybe keep the polyps annoyed, looks like something ripped the tissue off or eat it- whats you alk at?
if it wasnt getting enough light i would say it would turn brown not white. Move it lower and make sure you give it proper flow so it has some polpy extenstion.

yeah veryy true- i would like to know who has the money to spend on a wild colony from expensive stores that have a slime chance of living?id liek you have your job
even if we stoped buying corals taken from the ocean i dont think the stores would stop stocking them : / so i think people buying them gives a better chance and also a better luck to discover a gem and find a nice name for :)
hah yeah if my tank was doing well i would have bought a wild colony from tropaquarium- with reeftoreptiles across the street they have 2 nice colonies of a mixx between pink lemonade and a microladus for only 80 bucks : / can you belive that its in the giant colony section for only 80 bucks : /.
lol your to kind greg, but as on now tank is in a waiting period i snipped all dead pieces in hopes some will recover- now the hobby is a waiting game, i wouldn't wanto add more corals with ones still dyeing in fear that the dieing ones could cause a chain reaction. greg ill give you a call in...
