    Different phyto's

What we have used in the past for our filter feeders is Phyto Feast by reef nutrition. http://www.reefnutrition.com/phytofeast.html Phyto is good for filter feeders in your tank or if you are trying to breed fish. Depending on what you keep in your tank I think you will be fine to just pick one...

    12 gallon JBJ

It was the fish in the bag at Rods house and the fish he went it with are also small and non-aggressive which is on purpose. If he went into any of our other tanks, then yes he would be a very expensive snack.

Any hints to netting a Pygmy Angel?

Good luck, I had to pull all the live rock out of our 20g to get to a coral beauty. My flame angel does come up to the surface of the water when I feed, maybe put the net in the water then feed and try and grab him? They can be quick and dart into the live rock when spooked.

The pistol shrimp in the tank has gone a very good job of creating a network of caves under the live rock so there are plenty of place to hide, so I am not that concerned if we see him every minute. Right now we feed all the tanks Rod's Reef which has a good amount of smaller particles for the...

    Flame Angel and Clams?

Re: Flame Angel and Clamps? I assume you mean clams, and that answer depends on the fish you have. Dwarf angels are prone to pick at clams and they might even leave it alone for a long time and then one day turn on it. We had a clam with a flame angel and he never touched it, but I have heard...
