Give us some more detail...size of the sump; pump flow rating; type of skimmer. The tang police will get on you with a sailfin and hippo in a 50 gallon tank.  I have to imagine they are small now.  You might want to consider an upgrade in the future.

Yes! Fish don't have the light requirements, like most corals do.

I don't have that size, but 1 3/4" is the size for a sch40 1" bulkhead. 2 3/8" is the size for 1 1/2 bulkhead.
