not at this time - keeping most of that stuff since I'll be setting up a new tank soon. just need to sell this tank first. and yeah like you said, the dims are awesome. its basically a tall 40b.
hmm, not sure what paint i used. i'll try a blade first and if its proving to be difficult, i'll find some paint thinner.
any negative effects using paint thinner on the silicone or the bottom plastic brace?
So, I've been doing some renovations in the basement and decided that I'll be setting up my old 80 Gallon Deep Blue tank again but turning it into a peninsula style tank once everything is completed in the next few weeks or so. Problem is, I painted the back of the tank black...
any natural...
I painted the outside bottom white with the idea that it would reflect light back up into the tank, but after awhile it wont matter since coral and coraline will just cover the bottom.
just have pictures when they were up and running. the 57 is about 2 years old and the 80 gal is a year old.
both tanks need a good cleaning and was waiting till the end of the holidays to post them up and a few other things for sale.
pics are here:
yeah, keep eBay in mind when looking to buy fish-street stuff. Most of the popular products can be had on eBay for much less and sometimes on Amazon as well with prime.
I think you'll be happy with them, they definitely move water - I never owned a Gyre or IceCap so I really can't compare but...
check eBay and you can get them for less then $100 each. Also, I had the CP-40, the bigger version running for almost a year with no issues when my tank was running. i heard they've made a few revisions on them since release and are much better.
I have a 57 deep blue rimless tank with a gla$$holes overflow and an eshopps s120 skimmer with a 30 gallon long that you can use for a sump, you'd need to put in baffels tho. price is $275.
Also have a Rimless 80 Gallon Deep Blue RR tank and sump w/ RO nwb150 skimmer - $400
