I used to do a FULL clean of mine about once a month and I notice MUCH greater performance after doing that.

I heard that also but I had mine on a timer every 4 hours and they worked just fine.

Dwarf or full size mine would only eat live. You are right it is hard to find ghost shrip though.

I had two and I moved them 3 times and I agree they get stressed out much easier than any other fish and they would get some light ich but it would go away all by itself until I stressed them out again.

I think you can protect against most but I have no idea how to protect against salt creep behind the tank. The salt is just going to be in the air. Not much you can really do about that as far as I know.

I have mine if someone can get to my house to borrow them. I am headed out of town tomorrow and won't be back until Sat morning (2AM ish)

What time? If it is later in the afternoon I may be able to help. I don't get home until about 2AM on Sat morning so I start my Sat days late.
