Well the ironic thing is yesterday when i picked up some new corals from the LFS, they told me I should dose calcium. I'm glad I didn't because I got a test kit for CA and one for KH. They are both too high. CA=450 KH=11.2, Alk=4.00 What's the best way to LOWER these?

Thanks guys. Not using a kit, instead using a hanna probe which has always been pretty acurate. Maybe I just need more live stuff in there as hawkeye says "breathing". thx.

Thanks adesimone. Ok, just want to make sure I get what you're saying. You have your RODI plumbed straight to the tanks and are using a float valve. Sounds good. But then you have a second line for water changes? That's the part I don't really get. If so, what diameter tubing are you using...

That makes sense. We have carpet over our hardwood, so I'm thinking that if the hole is small enough, and in the corner of the room by the baseboard, that the carpet will hide it. If we ever pull the carpeting, a small hole that size should be easy enough to deal with. Good to keep in mind...

Looking for some advice. Tank is a 120 and still isn't totally setup. I have a laundry room beneath the tank and I'd like to keep my RODI water, both salt and topup water in the basement then pump it up on demand. What size pump am I looking for? Also, if I do this, am I putting an auto topoff...
