As much as my family and I would have liked to attend we just spent an hour on the GSP and went 10 miles >:( Hope you all have/had a great time. :)

My temp went up to 83 yesterday >:( so I changed the times on my halides from 12-6pm to 2:30 to 8:30pm in hopes the afternoon ocean breeze kicks in and keeps my tank cooler(which it has). I was wondering if I can extend the period of halides to 7 to 8 hours or will it effect my corals adversely...

Your obviously going to the wrong beach, although alcohol is a no no on all beaches if you drink responsibly and discard emptys properly nobody ever says anything about it although you could receive a citation. As for frisbees, volleyball, food, etc.. it's totally allowed down here. :)

Welcome :) Actually a 30g isn't a bad start, the more volume you have the more room for error(not that there's much room for that at all);). The first thing you should decide is what type of tank you want fish only w/ lr or a reef. Decide what animals you may want if going with a reef soft...

I got a great frag from Steve a few months ago, in my search for answers to another question I ran across this thread http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119864 and am now confused as to where my Bonsai should go. Here is what it looks like now, seems pretty happy where it is but...
