Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I did the lowes glass and they shattered on me because I was putting too much water pressure past them. It was in a 135 that I made into a sump so it is different with the 20L but I would still get thicker glass if it was me because of the experience.
Does anyone have any ideas why my SPS would die from the bottom up? It still polups out on the living parts but the bottom near the plug is dying going up. I thought this was just because of being put on the plug but it continues to go up the frag. There are a few frags that this is happening...
Pros: Less work and more water quanity to work with.
Cons: If you have a crash EVERYTHING will crash.
Personal Opinion: I would go with the connected systems. Ease of maint.
I keep everything under it but you have to start all your SPS at the bottom of the tank and move them up SLOWLY or they will burn from too much light. Works great like that now.
I helped with that exact same thing. Pete had a 215 going down the stairs and we set it on its side and took it down that way.
What time are you planning on doing this? The day after x-mass I can't garantee anything but I can try my best to be there.
