I would not silacone. If there is a leak maybe the bulhead is cracked? Mine was and I just replaced it and everything is fine.

I think the filter socks would make the big difference.

So...... Ever since I got my new tank running I have not been able to get the PH up. It will stay around 7.9 to 8.0 if I do nothing. I keep getting it up with some of the ideas from people but it will always go back to right around there. Everything in my tank is doing great! The LPS, SPS, Clam...

I would always add a powerhead with the return. It all depends on what you put in there but generaly speaking the more flow the better.

Thanks and you are correct! The fish ALWAYS stay on that side of the tank unless they have a reason to go to the other side such as feeding. I can't figure it out but they love it.

I got my clown out using two people with nets and scared him into the overflow and then got him from there. It actually only took about 15 minutes but it all depends on how open your rock work is.

I don't know much about that. All I know is that excesive light did it for me. Did you move the tank closer to natural light also?

My theory on it was that the mirror added way TOO MUCH light. It actually started buring my corals.

I was doing really good with my T5 until I put a large mirror behind the tank. Then I got hit really hard with algae.
