So sorry I could not be there. Works seems to get in the way of my fun all the time! Let me know when ever you need any other help and I will be there. I am sure with a tank that size something will come up and you can use a helping hand.
They are screwed in but I will have to drain the overflow and things like that. It is not terribly bad just a pain and I am hoping I can get him out without doing that.
Yea, I am going to pick up a tiny net today and see what I can do. My large net does nothing. I was thinking of pulling the pipe but that would be a LOT of work. That may be a last resort this weekend if I can't get him another way.
Anyone have any ideas how to get a fish OUT of an overflow? I just got him yesterday and he jumped right into it after being chased a little bit. I was hoping he would take the magical water slide into the sump but he seems happy swimming at the bottom.
That may work out. Last weekend the g/f moved in with her cats and we are currently playing referee between my animals and hers so if they start to get along more we will be there but if not we will not be able to make it. I will let you know later in the week.
To be totally truthful i was very scared of that also BUT if you put the correct braces at the correct distance "theoretically" you can support any size tank because it is distributed correctly. I belive it is every 18 inches but I would have to check that one again.
