    That is very true. It is based on the flow but I am really not sure how I would measure it but I have a LOT of flow and 1 inch was just a hair too short when I put everything to one side.

    So you just have to measure twice and cut once. I used a router so I cut put a smooth hole in there but you can do anything as long as you leave the lip for it to sit on.
