You may have issues connecting the two together. I have seen people say they have problems and some sucess. I usually go glass to glass and so on just incase. The last thing you want is for a baffle to fall out when everything is running great!

Yea, they are JPEG but I cahnged them to GIF to get them small becuase the large ones are hard to see. I will try and leave them but resize them and see what happens.

Did you think about painting the inside rather than stain? If the fuge is going to be in there a nice white would reflect the light a bit more and may hold up to water better than a poly coat.

I have to admit I am a bit scared that with a tank this big I am going to put it on the stand and it will come crashing down. I think I would have to cry.
