I told a few people I had the awesome harlequin shrimp and two chocolate chip starfish in my other tank to chop arms off of....didn't realize they were not reef safe. Ate my violet cesphetilia, a couple mushrooms and attacked my anemone. Hope it survives..... What an idiot. In the sump...

Looks cool without the rim. I have one and wow does that look nicer without the top.

I discussed this after attending a large cat rescue in Indiana. They kept saying less than 500 known in the wild. Less than 1,000 known in the wild. But common at every zoo you can name. I know the Bronx does breed and trade with other zoos. I am not sure if they re release to the wild. Also...

Dave, how many frag tanks you have at the moment? All on the same system?

I did it right before I was gonna do a water change anyway so even more was removed with the water swap. Plus if there was too much other stuff released the fresh water would help balance it

HA. I had a mess like that once. I stirred it all up, stuck a return pup in the tank and shot the return line back into the tank through filter socks after filter socks. A dozen filter socks later and ta da. No more free floating detritus/debris....lol. Not recommended but did work.

I have had similar issues with corals getting knocked from a location, usually by giant snails. Then o put them back in the same exact spot and they don't do as well. Not just for a day from getting knocked over, but months+

Picked up another old AI controller for $50. Should be ok for now. Have these things listed for sale. Upgrading to newer lights if they sell
