    Seems like we really luck out in NJ, I guess it has something to due with the fact that most of the state is on top of an aquifer. 300-700 tds is not uncommon for a lot of the US.

    Jim having a sediment filter with a micron size greater than the carbon would clog it, you always want the micron size of the sediment smaller or equal to the carbon. I know you know this and its prob a typo, just wanted to clarify for other readers.
