I did a water change yesterday and afterwards noticed the water was a bit colder than the tank, not a huge concern as its always like that, but after the temp had risen again, I noticed the next morning it was down at 75° again. Think my heater is on its way out? I usually keep it at 78°

Yeah I got mine at the Petco dollar per gallon sale and noticed the same thing with mine. If you're really freaked out about it, you can drain the tank and put some sort of brace in the middle. I think it'll be fine though

I used to have a 29 gallon tank too. Mine did the same thing but I never worried about it. Had it running for about 8 months before breaking it down for an upgrade. How old is the tank?

Just got my 2nd WP40 in the mail today. I think I found a sweet spot where its not blowing too crazy. Not sure why I even care really, just gonna be tearing it back down in 2 weeks lol

On the new tank I'll have 2 returns. One in each corner overflow. I kinda like kyles idea of tying them together and having them dump into the first chamber. What's the Herbie method? Always see it but never know what it is. I want these overflows to be quiet as hell lol

So now that my new tank is going to have 2 corner overflows, how do you think my plumbing should go? Never had a tank with corner overflows. Obviously have the right side dump right down into the first chamber but what about the left side? and how can I tie in my manifold I have made up already?

Just ordered my brand new tank from there yesterday. I've been going there for the past few years and things have definitely gotten ALOT better! Still need to work out some kinks but I think they're getting better. Oh and that gold hammer was nice looking, almost picked it up myself

Officially ordered the new tank today. 72x18x28. Marineland 150RR corner overflows and black silicone :) should be here next week sometime

Yeah I'm sure I will, I just worry. Might have to rearrange a few things but shouldn't be a huge deal I don't think. More worried about not removing my sump and ATO tank when I'm cutting the top board up, so many bits and pieces from the board going into the water Lol

Lol thank you! I'm going to my LFS tomorrow to put a deposit on the new tank :) Just realizing now I'm going to have to cut the top of my stand out for the Reef ready overflows. Hopefully I have enough room under my stand for the new plumbing
