Just talked to Aquarium Center. They said I have an old oceanic tank and that it doesn't need to be replaced. He recommends emptying the tank and resiliconing it which I'll probably do but I'm not going to empty the tank, I just can't. I'll dump some into 5g buckets and try that.
Getting a new tank is out of the question, can't afford it. I watched videos on it and not one person drained it. They just lowered the level. AND if u guys are forgetting I do have a 1/2" inch thick piece of glass acting as a center brace which is 12x18.
If I went home right now, I could...
Okay so glasscages.com and overtheedge.com aren't any luck with my top. Over the Edge said they can make it but "its a 2 piece snap set up and is not meant for support in any way"...
Anyone have any other ideas?
Yeah I know... But its really not as bad as I'm making it out to be and going by the level on my phone, the bubble is smack in the middle on 1 side and off a hair on the other.
No I usually start filling then eye ball it going by the level of water... I know its the worst way to do it but ita what I did Lol I have a bubble level on my phone but its not really accurate
Not what I wanted to hear guys. Ughhh... Does it make a difference that the water is leaning towards the front a little bit? I can shim it a little more. I really can't empty this tank :(
Nvm I think I know what's happening. It is leaking a little bit but at the top "border". Is there a way I can just rip that off the tank? Its not really leaking, its just retaining water I guess
Creep is on both ends of the tank on the top corners, running down the side of the tank. Have no idea how its happening. Not enough surface agitation to cause splashing unless my fish are doing it lol
Sorry, I should've been more specific. I mean I keep cleaning it up and over the next few days, its back. I meant is there a way to permanently keep it away in certain spots?
No leaks Anthony.
