  5. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

  6. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Yeah that's how I have my return in my 90 hooked up, I got a barbed fitting and clamped it.
  7. Sobo's Reef

    First frag tank

I completely forgot I made this thread forever ago. I still have plans for this tank tho. Just got an AquaC Remora HOB skimmer in a trade. I made an extra port in my manifold in case I wanted to tie the tank into the DT which I probably will since we're moving and planning on being here for a...

snow onyx clown fish mated pair FS hazlet

So wish I didn't have a pair of clowns already. I'd take these guys in a heartbeat. Maybe when I set my 150 up, I can somehow manage another pair
  9. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Yeah that's what I was thinking too lol
  10. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

That might work, I have a whole bag of shims.. There's probably about a 2 inch gap tho between the tank and the pipe so I may have to go with something else
  11. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Okay so moving on now, I need super glue for the top pipe, a piece of wood for the manifold and plastic conduit thingies to secure it in place. Now you guys mentioned putting wood in between the drain pipe and tank for support. Do I just get random pieces of wood from Lowes or is there...
  12. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

I think some glue on the backside will work perfectly fine and be unnoticeable hopefully :) thanks again guys, I swear I'm smarter than this lol
  13. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

I guess I could do that. I mean its not like I'll have to take it down for anything right? Maybe just super glue the parts that make contact lol
  14. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

These would be perfect IF they had adhesive on the backside. They stay on by screws or bolts and I can't do that bc of the tank being in the way lol
  15. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Well if I found like a 50pk or something I'd probably put quite a few up there lol Any other ideas other than those? Sounds like it might be my only option
  16. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

    Anyone have any ideas?
  19. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 150 Rebuild

Yeah they would Jim, but not for the top. The line is going to be resting on the top of the tank literally so I wouldn't have anywhere to bolt to. Those will work if I get a piece of wood for the manifold, definitely. Here's what I mean
  20. Sobo's Reef

    Dan's 90G Reef

Its only 1 section so far, so I'm gonna cut it off and frag it and see if it lives, I just hope it doesn't take the whole colony, I'll be so heart broken :( lol Bicolor I've had for a year and a half, he doesn't really bother much other than the purple cap that he lives in lol I did however...
