Salgado Update
Juan and Cynthia have moved to Texas and have taken their marine fish business with them. Their website has not changed, and they are shipping from Texas.
I miss my trips to Thornwood. I paid $85 for my Harlequin Tusk. I paid $85 for my PNG Gold Nugget Wrasse. I paid $65 for...
Worst I can say, was for a pygmy angel (African Flame-back?), I once had. It took a dislike to my (expensive) Galba Damselfish and harassed it mercilessly until it was no more. Adios $150 Galba!
It seems to me that there's a disconnect in our forums between our meetings and our members who actually plan to attend.
If you plan to attend the above meeting, in Lakewood at the MadReefer's , please post your intention here...
I think there's some humor here between a sunken-ship-in-an-aquarium and an aquarium-in-a-sunken-ship.
But I can't come up with a punch line. Help me...
I found out about it pretty quickly and posted my request for the new reagents just as quickly. Mr. Saltwater Tank (on SaltwaterAquarium.com) posted his 2nd review of the checker two months ago. Here's the sad news he posted:

It came with an apology and a discount on my next order...
All things said, it's nice to see a company standing behind their product.
Location? (For possible future reference.)
I've recently hit zero phosphates and zero nitrates using a 120W scrubber (Ice Cap) and an odd DIY Chaeto filter. For better or for worse, I'm also looking to run an automated Nannochloropsis culture with the algae output going into my main system. I...
Your kalk reactor is probably flat bottomed. I'm inclined to believe that the funnel shaped bottoms (or 2L soda pop round bottoms) of are preferable because gunk shouldn't collect in either. That said, when searching for Aqua Medic Plankton reactors this past weekend, I actually came across a...
While searching for the perfect soda bottle, I remembered I had one of these Aqua Medic reactors that I picked up used many years ago. Looking at it again, it occurred to me that it was just a tall skinny bottle. It would need similar fixings to those needed by the ((FORDTECH)) design. The...
Looking for one or two Aqua Medic Plankton reactors, preferably those without the fluorescent light.
Here's a link to what it looks like:
