Anyone have any experience with the Gold Nugget Wrasse (Xenojulis margaritaceus)? There doesn't seem to be much info about them on the web, but there seem to be a lot of them coming in from PNG right now.

I think the worst drawback is their short life-expectancy. Two years is probably a lot for the more readily available species. That's a shame considering they're one of the most intelligent invertebrates available to us.
My "bare spots" are caused by currents from high flow return pumps and powerheads which are typically directed at the front of the tank. You might consider directing such pumps to aim at the water surface in your tank to see if it makes any difference.

Aquatic Obsessions (Aquatic Obsessions) in Avenel usually has a pretty complete selection in sizes (incl 5') and in color types. Other shops can't seem to afford incoming shipments. That said, their website says they're closed on Wednesdays.
