Okay so went to make an ALK dripper today. Bought 2 containers for a buck. The first one cracked easily so thats trash. The next I heated a small screw driver and made a hole. Pushed the valve in gently and that one cracked too. Sheesh

I added water and salt directly to the tank and mixed. Then added rock and dry sand. The dry sand was much cheaper and rather clean so not much rinsing needed.

It was 60 white / 40 blue. So now its 40 white / 10 blue. So the tank has a more blue look. Not sure on nutrients. All levels seem ok. I run a five and GFO. Sent from my LG-M210 using Tapatalk

I have been playing around with my LED's setting which is not much. Just to channels that you program percent of light, 0 to 100. MarkC gave me a Red Digi frag and it was bright red and started growing and is now double the size. But ever since I changed the settings it looks brown and not red...

Add a few milliters of baking soda around 9am. I was told it should be bwtween 7 and 11, so a bit high.

As today Alk is at 13. I see no change in in frogspawn or hammer coral. The candy cane looks better.

Nice. I have a small zoa frag that had aptsia on it so dipped in hot water, about 2 months ago. All the heads closed and I assumed it was a goner. The other night under the blues I could see small orange dots. It's making a come back, resilient I do agree.

Normally I would add it to the gallon and shake it up until dissolved. A few shakes over time; then poor 3/4 out carefully into another container and dispose of the residue.

I have a Cannon MX490 and the ink cartridge is about $19 for black and $25 for color. The printer truly sucks. It never prints straight lines and sometimes words are blurry and other times not. Very frustrating.

I Don't have a sump so my top off is manually adding a gallon each day. I have 7 separate gallons of water waiting. This is why I was using baking soda and not kalk. One day when I get a sump different story.

I put a small piece of egg crate to section off my GFO bag from the macro. Didn't want it getting all tangled up.
