I have mixed some Kalk and my question is...
After it mixes and settles could I pour the mixture through some cheese cloth or a coffee filter to remove the sediment? This way I can drip dose and avoid clogging or excess kalk in my tank.

I do feed Nori plus I have an auyomatic feeder that dumos Hikari seaweed flakes 2x a day.
Candi, I had a clam with the 3 dwarfs but it didn't last long. Roy has a clam with his potters.
I put phosban and carbon in one reactor and they are separated by the flter pad. The phosban is on the bottom and carbon on top, otherwise the phosban may get out frm the holes on the plastic screen.
I would say irritating the crap out of them. No can do with another tank. Going to the reptile expo in Hamburg PA tomorrow. My son already has plans to buy some type of lizard. He wanted a snake but the wife said no way and agreed to a small lizard. Little does she know. He already has 5...
Phil,
Seems that way. Also, my Coral Beauty has disappeared since I got rid of the Keyhole. I am down to 1 dwarf angel now. I'll take that as sign I was pressing my luck. I wonder if the wife would go for another setup FOWLR....hahahahhhaa
Well I have confirmed that my Flame Angel has a taste for some SPS corals such as Pocillpora and the Green Slimer frag I won at the meeting. I won't be getting rid of it as it's my favorite fish.
I just take the cover off and clean that because it usually has green stringy algae. I also wipe off the impeller with my fingers if its covered in algae.
It is brand new; got a few months back and hooked it up in October. I didn't tale reading after each I will do that as soon as i can get my hands on a TDS meter. I don't own one yet.
No experience with those particular fish. But I have kept fish in a plastic container with holes in my main tank for 2/3 weeks with no problems. Just feed it in there and ensure the conatiner doesn't get to dirty. You can then concentrate on the bio-cube setup.
stcreef, thanks for all the info. You are the second person that said to remove that one cartridge. If the DI is already spent in making only about 65 gallons of water is that normal? I don't know the water pressure; all I know is it's considered high.
Here is what I purchased with out the replacement parts. I bought it on enbay from Purewater club

Yeah Phil tahnks for the split. Just for the record I was going to create a separate thread. I won't be in the office Friday. I'll PM over the weekend if I don't get tested by Monday. thx
Hate to hijack here but saw something that caught my eye. It stated that RODI should be 0/2 for use. I have a brand new RODI and my tap measures 137 and the best I could get from the unit was 5/6. Are you syaing that this isn't good enough to use? Am I just wasting my time making water?
