Roy,
Take the 2 red hermits back you gave me. Seems like since you got rid of them the HA got worse. Also, I have a HOB filter you could probably add phosban to it and see what happens.
During the November meeting while Phyl was giving the photo presentation I thought these ideas are great if you had a nice expensive camera. Well, when I got home she inspired to dig out the extremely dusty manual to my Olympus camera. To my surprise it has settings for macro and super macro...
Guess I'm getting a bit panicky. Things were going so well and it is a very nice looking coral. I did blow ater across it and nothing came off and it appears to be rigid. So will have to wait and see.
Thanks, I haven't touched but will check it now and then. As for flow it should okay, the polyps swayed nicely when extended. I really hate that crab right now.
I purchased this Green tyree from Candi and it did great for a week. I noticed a crab, some type of mithrax, bothering it. It took several days to catch the crab. The coral hasn't extended polyps in about 4 days now. You can see the chunks of flesh the crab tour off on the top of the pics. What...
Does anyone know the name /kind/ brand of putty that is sold at Lowes or Home Depot that I can use to glue some frags? Andy mentioned it yesterday but I don't remember. Thanks

Currently, I have a Berlin Classic skimmer and was thinking of picking this up used, kent nautilus te protein skimmer . Is there a significant difference between the two?
Thanks,

Take a 2 liter bottle and cut the spout off about 3" / 4" down. You then invert into the remaing bottle section. You will need to cut the spout out depending in size of fish you want to capture. Glue it together and tie a piece of string. Bait it and wait. I actually stapled mine together.
I made one out of egg crate and twist ties. It is boxed shape about 10" tall 3" wide. One narrow side has an opening of about 4". I tied a piece of string to it and put a rock with nori in it. depending on the fish it could take 5min or a few days. I pull the string and then net the fish out.
