The Kalk reactor I have is set up in line with the tunze ato. The outflow is gravity fed into the sump.
There is no way for the tunze to ever 'stick' given its set up. At most it runs for 3 minutes straight and then forces a stop completely because it knows the sensor is off. The only risk I...
LOL i thought we were talking about dallas. yeah -driving to Des Moines is 1100 miles for me.
take highway to I-80. Take I80 west until iowa.
Lets not forget the main positive of driving over flying though.
Point #1: No TSA.
Point #2, if the vehicle is big enough, winning any grand prize...
I recall phyl recommending a kalk reactor over a calc reactor. Also that the benefits of running both at the same time are even better.
I've run a kalk reactor hooked with my tunze osmolator for almost 2 years now with no issues. My ph has been steady at 8.5/8.6.
i am going to try this product...
After an hour of fruitless printing I finally figured out I had to update the Ip address on the port on my pcs in order to "print" to the wireless printer again.
Not sure if anyone else has a wireless printer that isn't printing - but the reason (apparently) is that the loss of power forces a...
SPS are tough to keep. If the goal is to have an all stick tank - I would urge starting with easier sps (caps, millies and such) and progressing on that way. If possible purchase frags from tanks with similar lighting. I hate buying sps that looks one color in a tank and looks completely...
There is a Sport Honda dealer in my town - right off of bridge street/middlesex, supposedly they have generators in stock. So if you need service - you can consider them. Right now i think a 6500 is out of my league/budget but i was thinking of at least something to keep the fridge powered...
I was thinking to pull it off for that very reason - that it will regrow. But if it's fine with the shell on it, maybe it is just lugging around the shell as food for later?
your userid handle is very appropriate for this thread...."Arrg".
The only better one I could think of would be "D'oh!"
I dunno about a sponge but one time someone used a water bucket for detergent and when that same bucket was used in a FW tank - all the fish were dead hours later. I'd be...
For a limited time only, now through November 23, visit America's Most Touchable Aquarium for just $15 a ticket, for adult or children's admission. There's not better time to visit Adventure Aquarium than this fall - get up close to penguins, seals, hippos, sharks, stingrays, sea turtles and...
ha! 70 is quiet? I dunno - in jersey 70 db at night has got to be loud and annoying for neighbors.
Passenger car at 65 mph at 25 ft (77 dB); freeway at 50 ft from pavement edge 10 a.m. (76 dB). Living room music (76 dB); radio or TV-audio, vacuum cleaner (70 dB).
So basically you'll have a...
cool thread. Great to hear that everything was ok and it is cool that dad is willing to help out. If it were my dad he would have insisted on going to disney with us....hahaha. I should have talked to you last year when we went to disney.
So home depot sells honda generators? or did you...
on his other thread(s) he makes mention of selling yellow tang, hippo tang to help his achilles tang...i would venture a guess that he doesn't want to add another tang. but then again - maybe he does! hahah
