Just wanted to thank Alti for hosting a great meeting! Anyone who hasn't checked out his place really should. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people. Plus, I actually won some raffles for once Woo Hoo! ;D

It should just clear up on its own.. I've learned to stop rinsing my sand as well. When You rinse you get rid of all the really small particles of sand which are good for your...dare I say.... DSB!

If anyone has an orange cap they would be willing to bring to the meeting I am looking to buy a small piece. I can see it happening now.. 1 SPS turns to 2 and 2 turns to 3.. ugh  ::)

I dont know the names of them.. But they are like standard garden hose spigots. I guess now that I think about it.. I just need to get another Y to hook up to the hose.. and then the RO hose can go right into your mixing thingie. I thought it was bad to use your hot water in RO unit...

A Mixer gadget ehh?? That sounds like a plan.. Can you make one that hooks up with (2) 3/4" connections? I have mine hooked up to the washing machine lines because my basement is finished and all the water lines are behind the sheetrock.

I thought 50 psi was good. :( Oh well.. Here we go again!!! I'll check our your gallery.. I am interested in the DIY mixing chamber.. I tried to loop about 10 feet of tubing into a 5 gallon container of heated water, but that didn't seem to do anything.

It's actually working! I had it hooked up right, I guess it just needed to build up enough pressure to shut off the ASOV. It takes about 15 minutes for the waste water to shut off. I'm ready when you are Phyl! Thanks for the help Rich.  :)

I have a Kent Aquadose if you want it. It works pretty good, holds 5 gallons and has a adjustable drip rate "thing" like an I.V.
