Count me in on this one. I'm going to need a bunch of stuff.. Preferably a place that sells MH reflectors and such. I'm not sure Icecap does, but I will be in for a few ballasts and bulbs for sure.

What was your salinity when you did these tests?

When I used to drip Kalk, I did use it to help top off...but by no means did I use it as my ONLY top off. You can try alternating your top off. Use Kalk one time and Freshwater the next. How strong are you mixing your Kalk? You could also try using a lesser amount. HTH

I have a CSL fixture as well. They have been out of business for awhile now... I used the Sunpaq bulbs. They are great bulbs! I know trop sells the 96 watt Sunpaq's..Not sure about the 32watters though. Try Drs. Foster and Smith...they usually have good pricing on those bulbs. :) HTH

I think it really is a preference thing. It also depends on what type of corals you are keeping and if you have a lot of light or not. This is what I do: Atinics On @ 2:00 pm Halides On @ 3:00 pm Halides Off @ 11:00 pm Atinics Off @ 12:00 am

I dont know why... But i have never had luck with those yellow watchman gobies. They always "disappeared" on me. My wife won't let me buy them anymore!  :-\ I will break her again eventually!! I just wish I knew why they never made it... all the other fish do so well. Actually one kinda of got...

Figi Yellow Leather!!! I really love mine! I does like high light though.. I have mine about 10-12" from the surface directly under one of my halides.

I used to use one on my 38 gallon running on a Mag 7. I never had any problems with it. Although it is frozen now.. I took it off the tank when I broke it down and forgot to rinse it off!  D'OH!  :D
