    MP40 Pin Spacer adjustment

I’d probably try it at both setting before doing the right thing……contacting Ecotech and seeing what they say. It’s interesting that 8 mm is almost right in the middle of ¼ inch and 3/8 inch. Eight millimeters is 0.065 inches more than a ¼ inch and 0.060 inches less than 3/8 of an inch.

Oh no he didn't, oh yes he did 180 gal build

Removing the Naso, that's still 29 fish. Just seems like a lot of fish, even for a 180 gallons. :concern:

Can you run a skimmer without rock or sand?:grin: The race is one….what’s going to be delivered first…the skimmer or the sand and rock? I’m taking odds.

Continuation of the Canopy Build On the front lower frame member I attached a strip of 1/16 acrylic, jutting down a half inch. This will hit the front glass of the tank and keep the canopy from sliding back. Primed the box with Kilz….here it is upside down without the door: And...

I do not care for the tenor of your comment. Accordingly, my Shop Steward and I will be in your office first thing tomorrow morning to file a grievance. For the oldest profession, in today’s economy, that’s a bargain! Stop complaining and pay! :o Now, for the build...

Having recently made additions to this Tale, I decided to reflect on the earlier posts I’ve made by going back to day-one and reading. To my horror, I only got as far as my very first post. In this post, made over two years ago, I had a “To-Do” list, which I will repeat here: 1. Build...

    Quick PVC cement?

It's minutes. I worked with a mechanical contractor and his comment about cure time was the time it took you to get back to the main and turn on the water.

    Leveling stand

Slap that level on your top edges....they are the important ones as far as the water level being even with the top edges. That bottom glass could have a little warp or bend in it.

I don’t have a pressure gauge, so I’m flying blind. Maybe my next RO/DI project, where I’m considering adding another membrane to reduce my waste water volume, I might add in a pressure gauge. I’ve been on this “green” kick this past year or so, even though the financial analysis would...

George and Ryan, here’s the story. I’ve always known that I’ve had low water pressure. We considered a lawn sprinkler system a number of years ago, and the guy said we only had thirty-something pounds of pressure, and would have to put in multiple zones for it all to work correctly. So...
